Logic offers wisdom on his latest rap album

By Christian Boyd, Staff Writer

With new perspectives being the theme of 2017, Maryland rapper Logic fits right in with his new album titled Everybody.

Logic explains through the use of third person the struggles faced by African Americans and people of mixed race. He raps stories of his childhood, his adulthood, and stories of life that all come together to create the artistic premise that he is aiming for.

He spreads racial awareness throughout the album generally. He starts his album with the song “Hallelujah,” explaining that people of all races, colors, and sexual orientations are born equal and live equally.

He also spreads suicide awareness in “1-800-273-8255” which is actually the phone number of the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. He promotes that life is more than worth living no matter how hard it can get. He has features from Killer Mike, Ansel Elgort, Black Thought, J. Cole and more.

Everybody has everybody rejoicing in love for one another.
