The girls softball team faces Mt. Lebanon today, coming off of a victory Monday over North Hills.

The Highlanders won 7-5.

Senior Katie Knezevich said sophomore Addie Tagg “came up clutch” with a home run in the bottom of the seventh inning.  Senior Sam Wampler also hit a home run.

The Highlanders have been winning, but still strive to improve themselves.

“We have been playing well, but definitely need to keep working in practice,” Knezevich said.

The team’s next game is today at Mt. Lebanon at 4:15 p.m.

“If we work hard and play well together, we will get far,” Knezevich said.
