Gingerbread house competition

With Christmas around the corner, many people are celebrating with holiday favorites, including gingerbread houses.

Beth Fochtman’s advanced culinary arts class has created its own gingerbread houses to put on display for a competition.

“It’s been a tradition for a long time, but it’s also really good because it creates team building skills and competition,” Fochtman said.

There are five groups, each consisting of five students. Each team creates their own house to put on display, then students and staff will vote on a winner.

“They can either do it the old-fashioned way and come to my room and vote, or I’ll be putting a poll on Twitter,” Fochtman said.

Students can find Fochtman’s poll @FuffsCooking227.
